Hey, Everyone! It's Fanatic, and I'm back with a blog about the auras that we've seen in this season of Aikatsu! Stars.
I'll start with Ako's aura!
Ako's aura while she performs, "Happy Punch."
The white lines, adorned with pearls and flower bouquets, form a chain-like circle around Ako. The large, translucent blue, gold and green spheres can also be seen floating around her as they fade away. Ako's covered in a yellow glow and is surrounded by fuchsia glitter, with flowers that loosely float around her.
Next, we have Mahiru's aura!
Mahiru's aura while performing "MAKEOVER MAKEUP."
When activated, there's an explosion of magenta feathers, followed by multi-colored glitter that spirals around her body. Mahiru is then surrounded by a purple glow. Forming a circle around her body are the same circular metal designs, translucent beads, and jeweled flowers, along with her magenta jewels in the shape of bows. She gains newfound metal circles with a sun design inside of them, each surrounded by a circle of blue beads. The circle surrounds her body in the order of Bow, Bead, Flower, Bow, Design, Bow, Bead, Flower, Bow, Sun, and repeats. Her jeweled flower-like designs and white translucent beads float around her body.
Third is Laura's aura.
Laura's aura while performing, "Miracle Force Magic."
When activated, there's an explosion of blue glitter. The blue beads form a circle around her in the shape of hearts, with purple bows in the center. The series of cherry blossoms continue to float around her body. Laura is covered in a blue glow, with a large, translucent pink circle beneath her.
Fourth is Yuzu's aura.
Yuzu's aura while performing, "Never Give Up☆"
When activated, there's an explosion of orange slices, smiley faces, hibiscus flowers, stars, and green glitter, followed by multi-colored glitter that spirals around her body. The green spheres and various sized bubbles form a circle around Yuzu. Peppermints and tiny bubbles can also be seen floating around her as they fade away. Yuzu is covered in a bright yellow glow, with green glitter surrounding her. Beneath her is a large, translucent blue circle.
And last, but not least, we have... Soleil's unit aura!
Soleil's unit aura during their performance of, "Diamond Happy."
While performing together, Ichigo's primroses spread out to encompass the entire group, while Aoi snowflakes and Ran's butterflies spiral around them from opposite directions.
Moving onto my opinion of each aura, starting with Ako's!
I was surprised to see that Ako's aura changed without her obtaining Star Wings like the others. I mean, it would've been cool to see that happen if Kirara didn't come into the picture and took Ako's role as the sole muse of Fuwa Fuwa Dream. Yes, I know that the brand didn't suit her personality and characteristics before Kirara persuaded her into becoming co-muses, but that's not what I'm here to talk about. Lol!
I like that the white lined arch that's decorated with the flower bouquets, forms a circle around her. That makes it look like Ako's sitting inside, or under a floral canopy. It looked nice as an arch, but I must say that it looks better now. Then, there's her arch of translucent blue, green and gold spheres. They now float around her and I'm not entirely sure, but they look as if they're floating upwards. I really like that they're doing that now cause it made me think of those bubble machines people use at outdoor parties. Definitey gives off that Pop type feeling. With those changes being made, the things that remain the same are her yellow glow, fuchsia glitter and flowers that loosely float around her.
Next is Mahiru's!
As much as I love Mahiru's original arched aura, with the fuchsia ribbon and chocolates, I will say that I like that the evolution of her aura's showing how much she's grown/matured as a person, model and idol. Not sure if this will make sense, but I feel that her aura's gone through the most change, going from chocolates to jewelry.
I like that the metal circles with designs, jeweled flowers, bow shaped magenta jewels, and translucent beads form a circle around her in a certain pattern. That made it look like it's an actual piece of jewelry (necklace or bracelet). I also like the new metal circles with the sun designs. They're a great representation of her name. I think it could definitely be used as her trademark symbol. The extra jeweled flowers and translucent beads that can be seen floating around Mahiru look nice, too! I've grown to like the jeweled aura, but her ribbon and chocolate arched aura is still number one in my opinion!
Third up is Laura's!
Laura's aura has received mixed reviews ever since it changed during the S4 Selection. The circle of curved, blue line segments with beads of the same color that are separated by purple bows seemed too cute for a Cool type, but in time, people got used to it. I know I did. Especially after noticing that the bows had music notes on them. I also recall mentioning that the aura reminded me of Seira Otoshiro's from the original series, in a previous blog. Oh... I do like that Laura still has the cherry blossoms floating around her like they did in her arched aura.
When it changed after she obtained Star Wings, I was a little surprised to see that her aura became more cute-like. The blue beads taking the shape of hearts didn't seem like something a Cool type would have in their aura, but I realized that they can be girly, too. The bows being in the center of each heart looked nice, but didn't help that much. Although, the change of color in the glitter is nice. Magenta or pink was nice, but blue suits Laura better. I just wonder what it would've looked like if they had done something similar to Ako's aura (?). Anyway... With all that change, I'm glad that Laura was able to keep her blue glow, cherry blossoms. and translucent pink circle.
Fourth is Yuzu's!
Like I said before, I'm not a huge fan of Yuzu's arched aura, but when it changed after she obtained Star Wings, I was surprised. The arch of various sized bubbles, and green spheres forming a circle around her looks really good. I thought the bubbles were regular spheres at first. That is, until I saw how they were moving. I noticed that the green spheres had a certain texture to them, but I'm not sure what kind. Not that it should matter. The peppermint-like arch that's now broken into small pieces looks good floating around Yuzu. Still not sure why that'd be part of her aura, but I'll just assume that peppermints are her favorite candy, like how chocolates are Mahiru's favorite. The addition of tiny bubbles looked good. I guess that nothing screams "Pop" more than bubbles when it comes to her. Other than those changes being made, Yuzu's bright yellow glow, green glitter and translucent blue circle still remain, and I like that. Still wonder what it would've been like with a translucent yellow circle, but I realized that the stages for Shiny Smile are in the same shade of color, so it'd be hard to see.
And last, but not least, we have Soleil's
It looks simple. compared to those in Stars, but I do like it a lot. Ichigo's primroses look amazing spread out. It could make you feel like you're in a field of flowers, and they float from the ground as the wind blows. Aoi's snowflakes look really nice and detailed. I didn't start watching the original series until it was a few episodes into the third season, then caught up by watching seasons one and two, but never understood the snowflakes, given her personality and the theme of Futuring Girl. Ran's butterflies are definitely something you'd see in a Sexy type aura. I like that they're in the colors of green, blue and purple, as well as being outlined in gold. That makes them look so elegant. It's as if they could be worn as brooches.
