Stuck To! A Day with Hime Shiratori (密着！白鳥ひめの一日) is the eleventh episode of the Aikatsu Stars! Anime Series. It aired on June 16, 2016.
Summary[]
Yume Nijino of Four Star Academy is told to serve the top idol Hime Shiratori as her manager for one day. Due to being close to Hime, Yume gets to accompany her to her program, in which she once again sees the proof of "Hime being a prodigy". However, the program director seems to be worried about something...
Plot[]
Hime confronts Headmaster Hikaru and demands to know what his plans are with Yume. He acts as though he has no idea of which she speaks, and Hime brings up her recently canceled performance to force Yume to do her first Live. She asks if Yume is special and if he's using her for some plot but he responds with ambiguity, telling Hime that it's not her concern. Then he dismisses her.
Meanwhile, Yume, Laura, and Koharu are in the Cafeteria discussing Yume's performance. Yume feels somewhat strange however. When performing she felt a strange power, and when Laura and Koharu believe this to be a sign of her becoming stronger under pressure she remains unsure. A red carpet rolls up to the table and Hime approaches to thank Yume for filling in at the last-second, then she apologizes out of concern it was an inconvenience.
After Yume assures her it was okay she spots Yamaguchi recording them as the rest of S4 join them to explain that she's participating on "Fervent Continent". Yamaguchi and his partner work for the show and will be following Hime around for the day for total coverage on her, and Hime requests Yume joining her as a one-day manager. Yume is initially hesitant until she gets a few words of encouragement from Koharu and Laura.
Early the next morning Yume makes her way over to their meeting spot. She imagines Hime complimenting her efforts when she spots the S4 dorms up ahead, but to her surprise she finds Hime in training attire. Hime explains that she was out taking a jog before work and Yume expresses amazement knowing she was up so early.
The girls are joined by Yamaguchi and his cameraman and whisked away to Hime's first job, an appearance on the program "Makiko's Room". The two of them quickly begin to chat, saying that Hime was quickly driven into the entertainment field, appearing as a model in several magazines as a little girl and performing in drama as a child actress. Despite being surrounded by adults she was always in high-spirits, with Hime explaining that she was familiar with cameras since birth, so she's never nervous. She eventually entered Four Star Academy and in her very first summer there she became a member of S4. Now she spends her days modeling, singing, acting, and so on. Makiko claims that Hime is the definition of a perfect idol, leading Yume to say that she must be a prodigy. Makiko suggests to Yume that she watch Hime more closely.
The next task is a product pitch for a brand new cosmetic based on Hime, the Hime Rouge lipstick. She is touched by their decision and compliments it's lovely hue when the man asking her to partake in its debut commercial. She agrees and they get to work, having Hime sit upon a field of flowers while wearing the makeup. Her gentle charm and elegance quickly wins over the staff. During break Yume brings her a drink but she trips and accidentally spills a small amount onto her dress. She feverishly apologizes to the angry staff after they yell at her but Hime is sure she can obscure the little amount, showing everyone and calming them down. Yamaguchi narrates the display that just occurred and Yume remains amazed by her admired idol.
When filming ends they take off as she continues to apologize. Hime continues to assure her it's fine when Yamaguchi points out the huge amount of fans awaiting Hime outside. Hime asks if they have some time to see them and they step outside after Yume takes a moment to overlook her schedule. The crowd go wild as Hime greets them and she asks that they arrange themselves by height for a quick group photo, which she has Yume take. Everyone cooperates and she thanks her fans before promising to post it on her blog for them to see later.
Heading to their next location, Yamaguchi asks Hime what made her decide to interact with them. Hime explains that it's because of them she has such popularity in the first place, so she must thanks them by interacting as often as possible. It's then Yume seems to notice Hime is behaving a little oddly, but when she asks about it Hime quickly claims to be fine. She remarks that it will be raining later, followed by asking Yume if she's hungry as it's around lunch time. She confirms that she is and they swing by a Curry House she enjoys. Hime requests her usual and Yume does the same, curiously wondering why the waiter responded the way he did before he leaves.
Upon return it dons on her with her first bite- the curry is extremely spicy. Yume drinks her water as the man explains that this is the spiciest curry they make, which Hime claims to be essential due to the spiciness promoting good health and beauty. She seems to perk up as she quickly finishes her plate, Yume being too stunned watching her to work on her own. A pair of waitress approach to request a photo with Hime, and after Yume takes it she asks the girls if they are okay with it before one of them recognizes her. They recall seeing her performance on Aikatsu TV and claim to have become fans of hers as well, also requesting a photo from her. Yume is worried that it isn't okay as she should be focusing on Hime, but she reminds her of the importance behind fan interaction.
As they leave Hime feels something once more and notes the darkening sky. By the time they arrive to their next destination it's began to pour down rain. Because she has an hour yet Hime suggests using this time to rest, and Yume is surprised to see how large her dressing room is. She sees many presents and flowers surrounding them when suddenly, Hime becomes light-headed. Worriedly, Yume helps to support her as she claims to be fine again; this is a common occurrence whenever it rains due to being sensitive with low pressure. Yume asks if she has a medicine, and Hime states all she can do is wait for the rain to stop.
As Yume realizes Hime only has ten minutes left to perform she becomes anxious. A man steps into the room to get Hime, and Yume notes she is still out of it and stops the man to try to tell him what the problem is. Hime quickly gets up and claims to be perfectly fine, although Yume can tell she isn't when she nearly faints following the man leaving the room. Yume tries to get her to reconsider but Hime stubbornly refuses; even if only one person waited for her, she would go out to perform regardless of how she feels. Yume worriedly follows after her and watches helplessly as the ill Hime prepares to go out. Yume tries to make her feel better and gives her a small hand massage saying that as her manager, she wants to help her no matter what. A man announces that it's time for Hime to go on and she heads out, changing clothes and appearing on stage to perform "episode Solo".
By now the weather is slowly returning to normal, with Yume complimenting Hime as she weeps, much to Hime's confusion. Yume explains how touched she was by the performance, and she saw so much today that she is very amazed.
They head off to the garden where S4 usually gather, with Hime presenting some sweets she grabbed before joining them. Yozora prepares the tea after Hime makes a suggestion and Yume continues to watch with delight. Yamaguchi asks what Hime's goal is at this point and after a moment, she explains of her desires to continue bringing excitement to Aikatsu. Yuzu sneaks up on her to leave a final message before the filming ends. Everyone thanks each other for the hard work, and Hime hands Yamaguchi a present before he leaves.
She slowly drifts off to sleep, much to Yume's concern until the others assure her it's not serious. They explain that she often naps during her spare time so that she can remain energized whenever the camera rolls. Yume realizes that Hime isn't a prodigy, but someone who works harder than anyone else, and because of that she is wonderful. The girls happily show Yume support as she announces her aspirations of becoming an Idol like Hime one day, quietly cheering for her.
